I'm taking another art class online at Jeanne Oliver's site with The Creative GIRL, Danielle Donaldson; Creative GIRL The Land of Light & Shadows.

When I was building my wing above, I thought about what would allow me to take flight this year.  I just LoVE the word Serendipity!!!! I remember the first time I watched that movie, Serendipity and the first time I ate ice cream at the Serendipity shop in NYC! (of course both were done with my favorite girl friend....The Farmer's Daughter!)

So I thought.....I need more SERENDIPITY in my life.....and then thought.....what even is SERENDIPITY????

If I were to try and explain it without looking it up...I think of being more spontaneous, more free, more expecting of miracles, more fun loving, more intent, more adventurous, more of who I "think" I am, but fear that something is always holding me back.

What's holding me back?

I don't know. Maybe just MySELF!

Here's the definition of Serendipity:  a "fortunate happenstance" or "pleasant surprise".

The Hired Hand and I are making plans to put mOre INTENTION into our 33 year marriage. We're planning (yes, planning cause if we fail to plan then we plan to fail!) to fill our marriage in 2015 with more SERENDIPITY!

One plan is to make sure we sit in the kitchen for most of our meals together....whether it's coffee over the morning sleep in our eyes or dinner by candle light. Whatever it is, we plan to do it with greater intention and serendipity!

Gosh I like those two words together!!!

Another plan is to have more date nights...or days. Or just putting on Billie Holiday and dancing in our bare feet!!

The anatomy of the wing is broken into 7 sections. Each section is vital for a bird to take flight....as a farmher, I've been known to clip the part of the wing that actually allows the bird to fly.

Has someone or something clipped your wings?

We can all allow it to happen. I have. We get comfortable, lazy, complacent, fearful, sad.

Even if you don't feel you have a single creative cell in your body....it doesn't take creativity to focus on your heart and to find what would allow you to take flight.....

Go ahead and fill in your own 7 ways to Take Flight this year!!!

Let's SOaR together in 2015!!!!!!
