I googled them and then went into the kitchen. Seriously this is so easy and SO satisfyingly good, that you will kick yourself for not trying them sooner!!!
What you will need:
Canned Chickpeas (or dried that have been soaked overnight...guess what I'm doing tonight?!)
EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil)
Salt & Seasonings
Rinse your chickpeas well. Lay on a paper towel and dry well! I removed the skins...but seriously now that I've tasted them...the skins would of been SO good...all crunchy!!!
After you've got them dried off extremely well, coated with EVOO (it only took a couple tablespoons...and I used one that I love the best!)
I seasoned mine with MCAD ANTI foods; turmeric, cumin, cardamom, salt, and chili. Just sprinkle. Not too much.
You can use anything.
Bake for 30-45 minutes. Less may be more in this case. Since this was my first time making them, I like them extra crunchy and also the ones that aren't. Just play with it, until they are how you like them.
After taking them out of the oven...IF you can wait for them to cool....knock yourself out....me...I couldn't!!!
You can eat them for a snack or on a salad. For me, since I'm allergic to nuts and seeds these would make a wonderful protein packed to-go food!
Some people with MCAD are sensitive to Legumes so eat them cautiously if you are or avoid altogether!
