Maryland has been a Blue state for a very long time. The Democrats have run this state into the ground. We rank 49 out of 50 for a robust economy!!!! We are taxed on rain!!! Yes, you read that correctly....we have to pay a tax because it rains!!! The current admin of O'Malley & Brown have implemented over 41 taxes and fees over the last 8 years!
Last night Marylanders spoke with a resounding NO! No more insanity. No more driving businesses out. No more fleeing residents! No more of Owe' Malley! He has sucked us dry!
Hubs and I can't remember the last time we voted for anyone in Maryland and they actually won! It's become very discouraging. I usually have to retrieve my yard signs in the cover of darkness doing the walk of shame....I think I'll leave my signs up for another month! I like the even number of 4! Actually I'll be glad to get them down after 3 months of them bowing to the East from our Westerly winds!
But this morning, I am grateful for a BIG WIN not just in Maryland, but across the country.
We have entrusted our new elected officials with a sacred honor.
Please don't let us down.
